Dansk version nedenfor

What is your idea and purpose? My idea started when I saw that there was a gap in relations to digital marketing, which also takes care of sustainability, gender equality and inclusion of people. In particular, I am thinking about the way we think about people which has changed over time. And with digital marketing, it’s very important to keep up with the times. So, it was not because it started out as a big dream, but more because I saw that there was a need. In addition, it was fitting that I was already working with gender equality and was taking a degree in digital marketing. So that’s why I just jumped out into it.

What inspired you to start? It has been how we communicate among one another. I have discovered that I like to tell stories, and is many ways I still do, just in a different way now. From being a dancer and choreographer for many years, which was my way of telling stories to no longer being those things, I have now found another way to tell stories. And it is especially stories that have inspired me to start. The different stories behind people and different stories behind companies, these are the stories that I would like to convey in my company. In my startup company I want to help other companies focus on messages and feminist messages that can push for positive action. I already work with it myself but would also like to help others to be able to do the same and especially to other target groups. I think a lot about how I can best get my message across, which is something I have practiced a lot via social media.

What do you hope to learn from the ØreXund Excubator course? I hope I can learn to be part of a network. I find it very instructive to learn and understand what it means to be an entrepreneur. I’ve had a company before, but it’s only now that I really understand what the very concept of being an entrepreneur means. I have found you in the Ørexund Excubator very helpful and supportive, helping me understand and talking about different things like fears, expectations and all the different thoughts you have as an entrepreneur. And I like that I have a mentor, Elsa, who just supports med and says I’m fierce and that I should just go ahead.

Have you received inspiration from the other participants in ØreXund Excubator? We had some presentations at one of our workshops, which I could see myself in, as it was presentations from companies where it was women and non-binaries who were behind it. It was very inspiring, as it was also very important for them how they communicated. I learned a lot from it, and it was cool to meet someone you could see yourself in in terms of being a woman, a minority person, and an entrepreneur. And then it’s cool with the Scandinavian networking, where I also learn a lot about the differences that are across us Nordic countries.

What changes in the world would you like to create with your idea? This is where my dream comes true. In general, I really want companies to think more about intersectionality. Thought inclusion, sustainability, and diversity in relations to gender and minorities when they are communicating and when they are communicating with their clients and customers. So, it is not only aimed at the majority of people, or that the communication becomes unnecessarily gendered, but rather make it so that the product itself and the company behind stand out and are clearer. My dream is that my company can help other companies be more diverse in the way they communicate.
